The artist behind Designs by Caitlin, where I create custom, hand-painted banners!

Before I ever picked up a paintbrush professionally, I spent seven years as a middle school English teacher. After becoming a mom, I made the decision to leave the classroom so I could stay home with my two boys. Like many moms, I wanted a way to help provide for my family while still being present for all of the little moments.

At the same time, I discovered a love for creating unforgettable celebrations. I found so much joy in planning special birthday parties for my boys and creating beautiful events for family and friends. Naturally, that led me to start painting custom banners to make those celebrations even more meaningful.

What began as a small creative outlet and a way to contribute to my family's income has grown into something I never imagined. I've been so pleasantly surprised and incredibly grateful to watch this little dream grow into the business it is today. Now I have the privilege of creating hand-painted banners for families all over the country, helping them celebrate some of life's biggest milestones.

Every banner is designed and painted by hand in my home in Alabama. I don't use vinyl, printers, or shortcuts - just kraft paper, paint, and a whole lot of attention to detail. From your first idea to the final brushstroke, I work with you to create something that's completely unique to your celebration.

My husband and I both own small businesses, so we understand the dedication, hard work, and heart that go into serving others. Building businesses we're passionate about while raising our family has been one of our greatest blessings, and we're so thankful for the incredible customers who've supported us along the way.

As a mom of two little boys, I know just how quickly these milestones come and go. That's why I love creating banners that become part of your family's memories, whether you're celebrating a first birthday, welcoming a new baby, cheering on a graduate, or gathering the people you love most

When I'm not painting, you'll probably find me chasing my wild boys around, planning our next celebration, or sharing behind-the-scenes glimpses of my creative process on social media.
